L. Austin Fredrickson, M.D., FACP, joined the SRMC Internal Medicine Center in August 2017.
Education and Training
Dr. Fredrickson received his Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown State University, Summa Cum Laude; and his Medical Degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He then completed his residency training at Akron City Hospital, Summa Health System. He completed the Primary Care Transformation Fellowship at NEOMED in 2020.
Areas of Practice/Interest
As an Internist, Dr. Fredrickson provides comprehensive medical services for adults; ranging from preventative care to the treatment of acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
Dr. Fredrickson is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at NEOMED, where he serves as core medicine faculty. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and honorary member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
